Catholic Charities Pro Bono Project offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit your schedule and interests, from single day community clinics to individual case placement for full representation.
Getting Started Guide
A guide to navigating the Catholic Charities Pro Bono Project online volunteer community.
How Catholic Charities Supports Pro Bono Volunteer Advocates
Catholic Charities is committed to ensuring that you have a meaningful pro bono experience. From malpractice insurance and mentorship to ongoing case support and facilitation of client meetings, Catholic Charities has the tools to ensure that you feel confident, competent and empowered to represent an immigrant client, regardless of your experience level.
Single Day Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to full case placement opportunities, Catholic Charities also seeks volunteers to support single-day events such as our Community Legal Clinics (CLC) throughout the Lower and Mid-Hudson Valley and our Immigration Court Helpdesk Project in downtown Manhattan.
Case Support Volunteer Opportunities for Non-Lawyers
In support of the Pro Bono Project, Catholic Charities is developing a network of case support and interpretation volunteers to work in collaboration with attorney pro bono volunteer advocates. Case support and interpretation volunteers are a critical component of the Catholic Charities Pro Bono Project.
